Question about BCAA for Sawatea or anyone?

I am looking to lose weight and I lift 4 times a week (i do a 4-day split that works for me). In that I am restricting calories and trying lose weight but mantain some muscle are BCAA helpful? Are there any side-effects?

Glutamine should help - but if you strict calories you will lose muscle too - it's ineviatable without the use of steroids.

Can someone recommend a type (brand?) of BCAA or what I should be looking for?
